[edit] User:Soccergirlot
Userpage used solely to run a poll about the user's girlfriend. Wikipedia is not MySpace or a free hosting site. User has only two edits, both to this user page. —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 14:20, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Wikipedia is not a free poll-running site. User doesn't seem to have any real intent to edit Wikipedia, other than to run this poll. Use some free hosting site to host it, not Wikipedia. Besides, the user should decide whether to break up with his girlfriend by himself. Bart133 (t) (c) 16:08, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - Wikipedia is not a number of things, one of which is a poll-running site. And I agree, if you can't decide whether or not to break up on your own...that's sad. --tennisman 16:15, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

- Stay together. After careful consideration of both sides of the debate I feel that Oliver and Lauren should stay together and talk this one out. I'm reminded of the words of humorist Dave Barry, that "A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person." It seems that Lauren is, in some ways, not a nice person. But, if she seems like a basically nice person you could probably tell her: "Lauren, I am absolutely crazy about you, but it sort of bugs me that you pick on other people like that. I think you're as wonderful as filo dough and you don't need to tear others down to build yourself up." I would have perhaps voted Break-up, but the mitigating factor is that Lauren is "outrageously hot" and I think that physical attraction is generally beneficial to the functioning of a healthy relationship, and should not be dismissed as sheer superficiality. --JayHenry (t) 19:04, 15 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by JayHank (talk • contribs)
- Uh, we're not voting on that at the moment... —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 19:17, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Uh, Jay, "outrageously hot" isn't a mitigating factor, it's the dispositive factor. In fact, one may safely answer the question without reading past the words "outrageously hot". To be sure, though, the "outrageously hot" assertion requires a citation, and the userpage probably ought, per WP:RS and consistent with the spirit of WP:HOTTIE, to be tagged with {{reqphoto}}. - I'm really not qualified to give anyone advice about their love life, so I have no view on whether he should break up with his girlfriend. As to the MfD, delete per above. WaltonOne 22:06, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
