[edit] User:Shuanggen Jin
Article on a main userpage. The article has been constantly deleted from mainspace; this is not much different from that article, except it also has references; one in what appears to be Korean and the other a "snippet" to a full story which 404s when I try to access it. -Jéské (v^_^v :L14 Grarrl Barbarian) 05:56, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete per WP:CSD#G4. Judging by the page history, this page has been recreated rather than simply userfied and--trusting that your comparison of this page to the version that was deleted multiple times is accurate--has not significantly changed from the deleted version. Given that this page was deleted as a result of a deletion discussion, I've tagged it for deletion per the criteria above. --jonny-mt 15:02, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- The speedy deletion tag was removed by User:C.Fred, who gives his rationale below. Given that the user is clearly trying to get into Wikipedia however he can despite being repeatedly rejected, I was hoping to take care of it through CSD, but I can see where Fred is coming from. Delete will suffice for me. --jonny-mt 00:44, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. First, I oppose speedy deletion under G4: the fact that it was inappropriate in mainspace does not make it automatically inappropriate in userspace. The argument could probably be made that it's advertising; I'd certainly go along if multiple editors felt it was really blatant, even though I'm not convinced it is right now. Maybe I'm being to sympathetic in assuming good faith with the creator. I've blocked him for repeated recreation of the mainspace article, and I've moved back his user and user talk pages, after he moved them to the name of his project. On the other hand, he's made only one edit that doesn't relate to his userpage or the attempted articles about himself. On reflection, I think that's the grounds for deletion. If he were an active editor otherwise, I'd let his userpage on himself slide. However, since all he seems to be doing is trying to get himself into the Wikipedia, that's another matter--and user pages in those situations are typically held as deletable. —C.Fred (talk) 16:11, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

- Keep. Don't BITE. How do you know this individual isn't going to start creating a bunch of articles, and they just wanted to start out by explaining who they are? Obuibo Mbstpo (talk) 06:43, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per user page policies. It was AFD'd it should be flushed. --Fredrick day 11:29, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
