[edit] User:Rosencomet/Grey School of Wizardry
Was marked for speedy deletion as spam, it is in userspace and should be discussed. Keilana 23:16, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I speedily deleted it under criteria G4, but moved it to userspace after Rosencomet's request for help. As a long-term contributor, I don't have any objection to him working on this material until it is suitable for article space. Marasmusine (talk) 23:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC) Edit: Depending on if the block is resolved or not, meh. Marasmusine (talk) 23:32, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep per Marasmusine. Page was just userfied 11 hours ago. Give 'em enough rope.--12 Noon 2¢ 00:05, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, yeah that block [1] throws a wrench in things.... But they can always create a new account for each user. Will have to see how they react, but they can still re-work the content under a new username I guess. So I will stick with my above "keep" at least for the time being.--12 Noon 2¢ 00:17, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- I also just noticed that this page, User:Infronics, and User:Smithforkranch were all tagged for speedy as spam by the same IP [2], possibly trying to make a point, then Keilana denied the speedy and brought them here. I am leaning towards thinking the IP noms are in bad faith (nothing against Keilana).--12 Noon 2¢ 00:28, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- You would be wrong, of course. Have a read of Speedy deletion criterion #G11 -- that's "G", as in "General". I tag several such pages daily, and hey presto, they're all gone.
- This page is spam. It was created by a serial spammer who barely escaped ArbCom sanctions for spamming, who was indefinitely blocked for using sockpuppets in an attempt to keep spamming. In short, deletion bait. --221.114.141.220 (talk) 12:57, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep as well. Hopefully they'll come back as individual accounts and work on it--I have no problem with it staying put for the time being. --jonny-mt 07:38, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep It isn't doing any harm if it can potentially be expanded. Master of Puppets Care to share? 04:36, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
