The result of the debate was Speedy keep. There is no valid reason for deletion given. There is no restriction on the number of userboxes a user is permitted to display. If the nominator seeks to propose that such a restriction be implemented here, he'll need better reasoning than is now present. Xoloz 15:15, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Although I tend to agree with the user boxes on his page, its overkill. A lot of this user's edits have been to his user page too. ~ Wikihermit 03:08, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't see how this is a valid reason for the page to be deleted. What exactly do you mean by "overkill"? We don't just delete pages because users decide to put a lot of effort into their pages, thus making lots of edits. Sebi [talk] 05:58, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Keep. I strongly disagree with the idea of deleting people's userpages against their will, unless they're divisive and inflammatory. Furthermore, as per current policy (WP:USERPAGE) and extensive precedent, elaborate userpages are allowed for those who contribute actively to the encyclopedia.
