Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Pickle of Death

- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the miscellany page below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the page's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page.
The result of the debate was Delete. The one substantive keep comment, from Gwernol, was (as suggested by Sam Blanning) based on a clear misreading of policy. No other serious reasons for retaining the page are given to counter the valid concerns of delete commenters. Xoloz 14:54, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:Pickle of Death
Inappropriate user page. Somnabot 17:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Relisted old MfD.--Andeh 08:29, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, looks like nonsense and advertisement to users blog at the bottom of page.--Andeh 08:29, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep. LOL, it "kicks ass". SoaP 22:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. This user seems to have abandoned their account, but not before vandalizing the wikipedia sandbox, and if my memory serves me right, he created two vanity articles that have since been deleted. Who needs to read "Pickle kicks major ass", and "Pickle is still awesome" before being led to "Pickle's" personal blog? This user page is inappropriate. Somnabot 03:44, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per above. --Zoz (t) 14:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Keep in general user pages should not be deleted (see the MfD page: "As a matter of practice User talk pages are generally not deleted, barring legal threats or other grievous violations that have to be removed for legal reasons"). However there is no reason why the comments and link to the blog shouldn't be removed while keeping the page. Gwernol 14:53, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- This is a user page, not a user talk page. --Sam Blanning(talk) 12:32, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, does not benefit the encyclopaedia, user has no contributions other than sandbox and userpage, Wikipedia is not a free web host. --Sam Blanning(talk) 12:32, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
