[edit] User:Noknow
wikipedia isn't a propaganda machine and userpages are for work related to wikipedia -- ( drini's page ☎ ) 20:57, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- Providing information reflecting common interests helps ameliorate information exchange, improves education. We all must be thankfull for wikipedia.
A user page is just that: a page reflecting a user. I am a user. I share my soapbox to refect my view. I advocate nothing. ledge|2006-01-31 16:37:48|128.193.169.136}}- comment: This edit was actually made by anon user:128.193.169.136 and was originally unsigned. Anon user:128.193.169.128 later edited the comment to add a signature for user:noknow (hidden behind the pseudonym "ledge")
- It's hard to tell if anyone has educated this user on the difference between userspace and article space; Special:Contributions/Noknow and Special:Contributions/128.193.169.136 are pretty significant, however. Perhaps some mentorship would help, and pushing these essays into userspace? Maybe Noknow lost their password, and that's why almost all of the edits are from the anon IP (trying to assume good faith here). -- nae'blis (talk) 23:23, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

- So, hang me by my balls and cut my throat; drag my carcass through the streets with a banner waving, "He did it! He did it!" "What ever is wrong, its his fault."
Thank goodness for thought police!
Thought police user pages show all sorts of flag waving and personal views; but their principles must never allow those who seem opposed speak freely.ledge- comment: This edit was actually made by anon user:128.193.169.128 who signed the comment as user:noknow (hidden behind the pseudonym "ledge")
- Speedy Delete IMHO, if you are User:Noknow and have lost your password than create a new account and restart. — Moe ε 00:23, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

- Well, this is certainly a tangled case. On the one hand, we generally allow leeway on userspace. On the other hand, the userspace is still explicitly for the purpose of developing the encyclopedia. The contributions to this page have been largely made by anon users. Except for the first couple, almost none were actually made by the user. However, looking at the pattern of edits, I am inclined to believe that they are all the same person. All the anon editors make similar edits to similar pages using very similar styles. The pattern of edits does seem to be more focused on writing this user page than on contributing to the encyclopedia. On balance, I think the relevant policy is Wikipedia is not a free host, blog, or webspace provider (though Wikipedia:No original research also applies) and have to recommend deletion of this page. I would encourage the user to continue contributing to discussions on existing pages and topics. Rossami (talk) 02:00, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Kind of like I said before, I advocate nothing. Just trying to develop a user page; but I do find its development rather interesting. Just think about it. Thanks for reading! ---as they shoot noknowledge's carccass into space, a faint echoe from the millennium train echoes, "Oh boooyy calamitous joyyyyy!"---
- Delete For me, the deciding factor is the lack of the user's contribution to the encyclopedia. Established editors are give some leeway to share philosophical opinions, though most have the good sense to keep that to a minimum. Here, the user is too new for his dedication to the project to be determined empirically. Taken together with the plainly expository nature of the content in question, I concur with the others above. - Delete per nom. and Xolox. -- Dalbury(Talk) 22:57, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, per Xoloz. User pages should be, well, user pages. They should not be "papers" by those with no substantial contributions to the 'pedia. Superm401 - Talk 04:09, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Delete. Wikipedia is not a free web host. Stifle 17:48, 16 February 2006 (UTC)- LOL. I didn't realize this had been relisted and that I'd already had my say above. I guess this says something about me, although I'm not really sure what. Stifle 17:50, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
