The result of the debate was Keep, and {{sofixit}}'ing. Only keeping the page to avoid biting the new users here. Will also be editing these pages to remove disparaging remarks and "chat" sessions. In line with assuming these editors want to contribute, will also be {{welcome}}'ing them and explaining our userpage guidelines. — xaosflux Talk 13:46, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

- Delete Editors are welcome to have userpages to describe off-wiki activities. If this user contributes, then he'll earn a user page. MKoltnow (talk) 05:44, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep for Now The account was created on the 11th, and this page made earlier today. We don't know if he intends to contribute here. In fact, this nomination seems a little bitey. ~Sasha Callahan (Talk) 07:37, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Second what Sasha said. The user appears to be an adolescent (and a sibling of User:Lexi255865) so I imagine they are unaware of the policies, or they have no intention of contributing, but we cannot tell yet. Suggest giving the user time to respond via a personal note on their userpage.--12 Noon 08:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- After looking at both user pages, delete and warn both users that Wikipedia is not a chat room. --Coredesat 12:29, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. These users should be told very nicely that they need to change their editing habits a little. Deleting the page can be considered a didactic measure, performed gently, and need not be "bitey", if it is handled well. Xoloz (talk) 01:56, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - Given that the only reason this content is objectionable is because they appear to be users who haven't yet contributed to the encyclopedia, so how about just leaving a warning on talk? It seems to me if we don't block vandals without a warning, some adolescents playing around with their userspace should warrant at least the same courtesy before we delete it. WP:BITE and so forth. - Orphic (talk) 12:43, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Delete, per WP:SOAP and User:Xoloz. Although, I will disagree with User:MKoltnow, in that WP:USER permits user pages for users, not just editors. Justin chat 22:17, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Even though Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it is also a community. Newcomers like these should be given some time to do some mainspace edits under the policies. Keep the userpage, tell them what Wikipedia is really about, and if they don't improve delete after a few weeks, then delete. PrestonH 04:06, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. Userpage of extremely new user. Let's give them a little time to make some edits outside of userspace before deciding they're never going to. Terraxos (talk) 01:33, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
