The result of the debate was keep. Since the editor is not exclusively editing on his own userspace and starting to help out at other articles, it would be best to assume good faith here. bibliomaniac15 02:27, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] User:Mike subritzky
Hi Folks, I have added the various References requested for the "Kusza" coat of arms page, I included more than 20 Golden Book references, including that of "Tadeusz Gajl" who has put that information together from his own Golden Book "POLSKIE RODY SZLACHECKIE I ICH HERBY." Hopefully that should remove any concerns of the information being a hoax.
With regards to my own bio, it is not that I am self promoting, but rather the fact that I have led a pretty interesting life. I took all items down as there was concerns regarding the publication of several of my books which were thought to be vanity publishing. I have since placed the various bits and pieces back up and put in the correct information.
I understand that my "poetry" blurb has now been removed from the New Zealand poets page...rather odd that considering I am New Zealand's most well known (living) poet internationally. I am also the only Kiwi poet to be read at Westminster Abbey, ANZAC Corner London, and the Vietnam "Wall" in Washington DC. I am also one of the very few New Zealand poets read nationwide throughout New Zealand on national radio and national TV on ANZAC Day most years...your choice. Regards, Mike Subritzky (email: kusza@xtra.co.nz).

Editor is using Wikipedia for self-promotion. All recent edits have been to this user page, to the article Mike Subritzky, which was deleted via AFD, and to the editor's Coat of Arms.-gadfium 20:07, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Delete I assume that this is a copy of content deleted at Mike Subritzky, and while a user can copy the article on him to his user page, this user is using wikipedia only for editing his own information. I'm also tagging Kusza_Coat_of_Arms as a possible hoax, and I'm thinking of going to AfD --Enric Naval (talk) 03:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

- The material on the userpage is more detailed than the material in the deleted article.-gadfium 08:27, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Delete userpages are not for storing deleted articles. Ultra! 06:18, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per above. Wikipedia is not the place to post one's resume. MER-C 10:16, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Let's assume good faith, many editors have extensive userpages about themselves. Kusza coat of arms seems to have really existed (albeit the content of the article may be biased and partially hoaxed, I have no refs ATM to verify this). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 13:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep as per Piotrus. Is not self promotion, let it be. I'm an Editorofthewiki[citation needed] 21:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

- Keep per Piotrus and because he's active on other articles (so he's not just using Wikipedia to create a bio, etc etc). -- Ned Scott 06:51, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep changing my vote after he provided sources for the coat article, and because he is really not a SPA, on 2006 he made a lot of work on NZ articles, and now his article on the coat of arms of his family looks like it might become a viable article, so let's let him have his user page if he wants --Enric Naval (talk) 02:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Delete and the rebuilt. Being an editor, even if currently only on ones own coat of arms entitles to have a user page "to facilitate communication among participants in its project to build an encyclopedia", but hosting an even more detailed version than the deleted article about oneself with numerous external links goes beyond that.--Tikiwont (talk) 09:49, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
