This is the user page of a user who has not contributed to Wikipedia since January 2007, and even then has very few contributions outside his own user page. The user page appears to be some kind of essay on galaxies (it is not an article sandbox), and it contained several images without copyright tags that have been deleted already. The user talk page, likewise, is a list of recommended reading. Wikipedia is not MySpace, and Wikipedia is not a free web host.

  • Blank it. I don't see what deletion will achieve that blanking won't, other than upsetting the editor if they return. There are good faith ways of misusing user pages and bad faith ways, no reason to think this is the latter. --kingboyk 16:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
    • Good idea. I would support blanking, I hope that it would seem less aggressive and that the user would get the feeling that they are still welcome at Wikipedia (which they most certainly are). --Iamunknown 19:09, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Blank "since january 07" isn't very long... i'm not in favor of just deleting others' userpages... if the page is causing problems, just blank it and leave a note for if/when he returns. /Blaxthos 05:03, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
