- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the miscellany page below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the page's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page.
The result of the debate was closed as malformed. Martinp is correct. Although a group nomination here is welcome to reduce clutter at MfD, each page to be deleted through MfD must be tagged with an MfD tag. This is not simply empty procedure; without notice, we cannot be certain whether anyone uses any of these pages, because such users would have no reason to know of this discussion, and no cause to comment here. This page is a list of candidates for Miscellany for deletion. The pages listed on it are nominated. The page itself is not nominated for deletion. Putting those 40 seperate nominations for deletion here would have likely cluttered the system. They are all subpages of the Community Portal. Comment below on either the groups, or individual pages. More information on the page.
- Comment. Might I suggest that nom use {{db-owner}} and an admin close this debate? --M@rēino 18:31, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

- Clarification. I wasn't asking for my userpage to be deleted. Rather, I listed about 40 subpages from the Community Portal on it. Those pages are the ones that are nominated for deletion. I listed all of them on one of my userpages because I believe that putting 40 seperate Miscellany for deletion pages up would clutter and disrupt the system. -- kenb215 19:56, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Point of order. It doesn't appear any of these pages have an MfD template on them. I understand not wanting to clutter this page up with 40 separate pages, but any visitors to the pages up for deletion have no notice that the articles in question are up for deletion. — Mike (talk • contribs) 18:19, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

- Speedy close as malformed nomination. Restart with each page that cannot use db-owner with a MFD tag on its own, grouped together in one list here at MFD. I appreciate your desire to eliminate clutter, but it is important the MFD'd pages have a warning on the page that they are in MFD, and going from this page to your subpage, reading the table to figure out what is what takes too long to figure out.
