The result of the debate was Speedy keep with nominator consent; may be renominated if user doesn't make other contributions within the next few weeks. Newyorkbrad 20:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site also WP:CSD#G11 and WP:CSD#A7 Hu12 17:10, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - user has made no contributions other than to articles about himself, Wikipedia is not Myspace. Iridescenti 17:13, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hold on - give the guy a warning and a few days to make some real contributions. Seems like the type of person who would have a grat deal of knowledge to share on some useful encyclopedic subjects. bd2412 T 18:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comment RE: What can I not have on my user page?. Has been warned in edit summaries that Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site, recreated page three times, ignoring the guidelines. There are no other contribuions then a WP:COI Bio about himself. I see no attempt to comply with WP:USER--Hu12 19:32, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep, and I thought of summarily closing this MfD as a WP:BITE violation. Yes, the user needs to start contributing to the encyclopedia ... but he registered today, and is entitled to start with his user page if he wants to. If this is all he has done in a couple of weeks that would be different. Newyorkbrad 19:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- CommentAgreed, would agree to a keep if there are contributions in next few weeks.--Hu12 20:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Keep for now. Of course WP:USER is a guideline, but so is WP:BITE, and we should at least attempt to explain him what he should be allowed to put on his userpage and what he shouldn't. However, removing his entire userpage isn't the way to do so. I think BD2412 has done a great job and I will do my part. Michaelas10Respect my authoritah 19:41, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
