The result of the debate was delete all as forks. The sandboxes can be recreated with new content, as is the nature of sandboxes. --Coredesat 18:26, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:Instantnood/Sandbox and subpages
Instantnood has been preserving forks of articles and templates that he has had disputes over. He has not editted any of these since June 2006, and many date from 2005. As user space is not intended to warehouse a user's preferred version of a page, I'd ask that these all be deleted. Please note that Instantnood is presently blocked (till March 28) as the result of ArbCom enforcement, and so will presumably not be commenting here. This was brought to my attention after someone mentioned seeing one of these pages show up high on a Google search. Dragons flight 16:50, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Has Instantnood been notified of this nomination? (Note that he is currently blocked, but could respond on his talkpage.) Newyorkbrad 23:37, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Userspace versions of pages are not so that people may have their preferred version of an article. -Amarkov moo! 04:24, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete but I've also said, out of respect, that this issue should be raised after his ban ends. There isn't any hurry to get rid of this and doing it while he's gone is kind of kicking someone while they are down. Why not postpone this MfD? SchmuckyTheCat 06:45, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. As per WP:NPOV and Wikipedia:Content forking. --Vsion 05:29, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Per above and also because he has not edited it for a while. --James, La gloria è a dio 18:10, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you really have to delete, subpages should go, not the sandbox itself due to the fact that sandbox is used to test (and some people prefer one for themselves!). - Penwhale | Blast the Penwhale 22:10, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: I have archived them in edit history to avoid the content being indexed by Google. Sandbox is the place for testings, proposals and alternatives. It may provide useful information and materials to other editors too. — Instantnood 22:30, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Legitimate uses of the sandbox can be served by recreation of it with fresh contents. I notice that the presumption that IN won't be commenting at *FD pages during his ban has proved incorrect, as it has on a number of occasions these past weeks. Alai 16:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comment And as he has done once again above despite the ban.--Huaiwei 14:04, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Keep no need to delete userpage forking. Sandboxes are places we put random stuff in. Wooyi 21:44, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
