The result of the debate was Delete. Although the keep commenters have a point (since the subject does have some professional credentials, his eventual notability is quite possible), one unrebutted fact supports a delete closure. The "time-clock" limitation on the page, placed by its author, indicates that he severely misunderstands WP:OWN. The editor created this page under a mistaken belief, employing a very bad misinterpretation of WP's guidelines. I'm sympathetic, and will gladly temporarily restore for off-site copying on request; but, allowing this example to stand sends the wrong messsage about the use of userspace. Wikipedia isn't a webhosting service. Since this user subpage was made (February 4), no significant edits have been made. The little note at the top says this: This is a tempory page, in the result that this wrestler becomes a WWE star, it will then be put back on wiki properly. If not it shall be deleted. Timer Set: 4 February 2007 - 5 February 2008, Anyone is free to edit this page. A year of crystal balling, because the user thinks the wrestler will become notable before then? That seems a bit unacceptable to me. Put it in a word document or on a personal website, don't abuse Wikipedia with these types of pages.RobJ1981 19:40, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete He has no right to dictate how long he can keep a dormant subpage. Placeholder account 23:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Userfication is for improving an article that is believed to just need a rewrite, and maybe some more sources put in. It's not supposed to be use to preserve articles on people who might become notable in the future. -Amarkov moo! 00:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all as per above comments. Also, Wikipedia is not a prediction place like Delphi. Bearian 15:44, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Weak keep there is potential that the article in mainspace is going to be made, weak keep. WooyiTalk to me? 17:04, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. This individual has achived at least some notability having appeared at several WWE televised events and is a former heavyweight title holder in the East Coast Wrestling Association. While the user's reasons for keeping the article may be misinterpreted, I feel the article does have some notability despite being largely unsourced. MadMax 04:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, this person might become famous, in which case an article will be created for them. This guideline-busting page is not needed to weigh down the servers until that happens. Lankiveil 12:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC).

- Comment. My point is that, as an independent wrestler, he is already "famous" or at least a notable individual in professional wrestilng. MadMax 20:42, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
