Propaganda mouthpiece for Falun Gong or a Falun Gong practioner. User page contains no relevant user information, only Falun Gong information that would not be acceptable on the main Falun Gong article.   • Comment. This user has been active for almost two days. The only two messages on his/her talk page are a welcome message and a message telling the user to stop being "retarded". Nobody has even alerted this person that we have a policy regarding what one can and cannot have on one's user page. I think this would be a case of biting considering that the user does not know the policy and no one has even attempted to tell the user about it. Perhaps a message should be placed on the user's talk page explaining our regulations pertaining to userpages? That way, the user has a chance to right it for him/herself, understands why it's unacceptable, and feels less targeted. The user is active so it should not take very long to get a response. I think that step should be taken before this MFD is put through. Let's give the user a chance, at the least. If the user does nothing in, say, a week, then I think this MFD will be appropriate.   • Done. But this isn't the typical newbie user page that contains all the immature newbie mistakes we all made when we were new. If you look at this user's contributions you'll find that he knows why he is here. To disseminate Falun Gong propaganda. This isn't a user page, it's a propaganda page. It should be deleted/removed regardless of how long the user has been onboard or how unfamiliar with policies he is. -- Миборовский 21:59, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

  • I agree with Srose. I suggest we put this MfD on hold and try to explain to the user why wikipedia is not the place for what he has to say. If that doesn't work, we can always reopen this MfD, but it should only be a last resort. Aecis Appleknocker Flophouse 21:55, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Comment This seems to be a work-in-progress for Portal:Falun Gong [1]. Although it doesn't much look like a portal, frankly. --Sam Blanning(talk) 01:30, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
