[edit] User:Endlessdan/CLAN IN THE FRONT
Blog about Wrestiling Samuell Lift me up or put me down 20:44, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Delete - Although it might have been prudent to simply warn the user (which I am sure they are aware of) WP:NOT#BLOG. Wisdom89 (T / C) 22:11, 29 March 2008 (UTC). Closer inspection of said subpage indicates that it is in fact not a blog, although it read like one. Changing to Keep. The nominator (and others, like myself) should have paid closer attention. Wisdom89 (T / C) 19:07, 2 April 2008 (UTC)- F U It's not a blog, richard. Its a means of communication between a novice Wiki user and myself. He copied some text that I asked to use in an edit of a wrestling related article. --Endless Dan 22:51, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

- If you're going to go so far as to make a personal attack to prove a point, at least go right out and say it instead of conceal it in some thinly-veiled abbreviation (and don't say "I was talking about Kung Fu!").
Delete per nom and per Coredesat.--WaltCip (talk) 15:39, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Keep per consensus.--WaltCip (talk) 03:02, 4 April 2008 (UTC)- Delete, WP:NOT#WEBHOST, WP:NOT#BLOG, there seems to be no indication that that this will be useful in any way. Editors matter, but this is a pretty blatant violation of WP not being a webhost. --Coredesat 00:45, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. I think Dan is right to be frustrated on this one. If you look at the history of the page, you'll see that the information actually was posted on there by a new user who is trying to get involved in the Wrestling WikiProject. He's violating NOT#WEBHOST? Because he's communicating with a new user who didn't format his post in Wikitext? Give me a break. Let's let Endlessdan help a new user out, and get on with working on an encyclopedia. --JayHenry (talk) 05:28, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Amen. This is the petty stuff that makes me less and less inclined to contribute to Wikipedia. --Endless Dan 17:39, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- Keep per above, it's just a sandbox Samuell Lift me up or put me down 21:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - it is partly a talk page and some off topic stuff - but not really a blog. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 02:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Keep, harmless. More talkpage than blog. Actually, I believe portions of this were already attempted to be MfD'd, and kept. I'll do a bit of research, I could be mistaken...Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 19:04, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- I was mistaken. It was a separate usersubpage that was MfD'd. The result was speedy close because E-dan was blocked at the time of nomination and couldn't respond. (which, remembering the sitch, was probably a good thing.) After the block expired, E-Dan then wisely did a db-author on it (and I deleted it). My Keep opinion above still stands for this unrelated nomination. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 19:31, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - harmless, not so large that it would be disruptive. Bearian (talk) 21:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
