The result was withdrawn by the nominator. --Elkman - (Elkspeak) 14:15, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
This appears to be either an attack page, a violation of WP:POINT, or a deliberate attempt at trolling. In any case, I fail to see how this qualifies as an attempt to improve the encyclopedia. Elkman - (Elkspeak) 04:38, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- keepSeems to me to be well within the sort of thing we allow in userspace. It is related to the encyclopedia and the user is being productive. There is nothing disruptive about the page as far as I can see. I also see no prior attempt by Elkman to discuss the matter with the user in question before nominating it for deletion which is disturbing given that it is in userspace. - Absolutely delete and salt We need to set a precedent about these sort of inane pages linked from color-coded letters in people's signatures so we can delete them all! —Doug Bell talk•contrib 06:25, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Comment This is compliant with WP:SIG- if you have an issue you may want to discuss it there. In any event, one can request a user to remove something from their sig without insisting that whatever it links to be deleted. JoshuaZ 06:27, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, but when the purpose of the page is similar to this page, which is to have an alternate "secret" user page, I don't think that contributes to the community spirit and the building of Wikipedia. So instead of collecting up all such pages, we can use this as a test case to see if we should delete them all. —Doug Bell talk•contrib 06:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm a bit confused by what you mean by a "secret" user page. It seems to be more of a joke than anything else. JoshuaZ 06:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- And small joke pages that are in userspace are acceptable per lonstanding precedent when the users are productive editors. In general, for productive editors we give them large leeway about what they have in user space and in this case the page is even related in a very direct way to Wikipedia and the user's Wikipedia philosophy. (I mean I wouldn't mind if everyone has user pages like mine but the bottom line is that that isn't policy and really shouldn't be). JoshuaZ 06:59, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

- Comment Do you think we should tell her that it's up for deletion? She may be able to shed some light on the situation or even support its deletion? James086 Talk | Contribs 07:51, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Keep, allowable use of userspace, citing user's personal convictions. I'd just like to note that the page itself is not in violation of WP:POINT (it makes a point... but it's not disruptive). However, deleting this page in order to set a precedent for deleting Esperanza subpages does skirt the border of WP:POINT. riana_dzasta 08:31, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - this nomination is ridiculous. Nothing worng with these Green "E" subpages, and nothing wrong with a hilarious parody of one either. Moreschi 10:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Comment - I'm of the firm opinion that voting on an AfD related to one of your own pages is a COI, so I won't vote. I'd like to point out that there are several other pages along these lines, such as User:Ashibaka/b that are even more offensive than mine. Vote inline with WP:USER if at all possible. I believe the nominator is acting in good faith, but is simply frustrated based on comments from his userpage. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 13:59, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
I am withdrawing this nomination. It was a stupid, disruptive idea in the first place. I should have minded my own damn business. Apologies to those involved. --Elkman - (Elkspeak) 14:12, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
