[edit] User:Daniel Quinlan/gaming
Deleted by User:Zscout370 with the reason "from looking at this page, this tells people how to game Wikipedia. I know there is an MFD already done, but this is something that just cannot be on Wikipedia.". I restored it because I believe that the deletion was unfair, since it has already survived a nom before: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Daniel Quinlan/gaming. Neutral. utcursch | talk 13:08, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep. It's a tongue-in-cheek parody that's hidden away in a user's subpage. Almost anyone who actually tried to follow this 'guide' will probably come across as a rather ham-handed troll. [And censure User:Zscout370 for the out-of-process deletion—this is not an appropriate application of WP:IAR.] 14:33, 16 January 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by BlankVerse (talk • contribs)
- Speedy Keep per previous MFD. And after reading Zscout's reasoning, I feel it's wrong for an encyclopedia to be afraid of knowledge. Anomo 14:34, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Strong keep. I don't recall admins having the power to overrule consensus with "But it's bad!" No reason for deletion; parody is fine. -Amarkov blahedits 15:27, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep - sense of humour failure isn't a valid deletion reason. Addhoc 15:51, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep. If there is an unacceptable essay or parody, it's usually moved to the userspace. As long as this stays there it's fine. Michaelas10 (Talk) 19:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
