[edit] User:Cassidy011
This userpage, which seems to be the sole focus of this editor aside from a series of mainspace articles (now deleted) created in conjunction with it, is inconsistent with userpage guidelines. It details an idea she has had and is not about an existing TV show. (See my talk page, a subsequent section on her page and then back to mine.) She really doesn’t want to lose this material, so I have created an account on her behalf at Wikia (she had some trouble doing so herself) and copied the material there. She’s not comfortable with their formatting and would like to be allowed to keep this page. I’d like to be welcoming and hospitable, but I have told her that I felt I had to bring this here for community evaluation. Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:46, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. I know that Moonriddengirl has discussed this material with Cassidy and that the content has been moved to the Fiction Wikia. However, if Cassidy can explain why this material ought to be kept here on Wikipedia, I may reconsider. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:23, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Metro! I am here to discuss my userpage. The reason i would like to keep my userpage is because i worked very hard on it. I know its not a existing tv show, its a written series. i have one of the scripts and currently revising. im sorry about my past offences as well. P.S. The formatting on Wikia doesnt work properly. - In terms of formatting, if you are referring to things like "Template:Infobox television", "Template:Episode list", and "Infobox character" showing up as redlinks on the Fiction Wikia, I think one possible solution might be to have those templates added to the Fiction Wikia so you can use them over there as well. I don't know if that would be accepted over there but I don't have any reason to think it wouldn't. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 16:02, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good idea, Metropolitan90! Cassidy011, if you're allowed to create pages at Wikia (I'm not familiar with Wikia) you can just create the pages "Template:Episode list" etc. containing the content from the Wikipedia pages. I guess. What about GFDL compliance: I guess when you create them, in the edit summary you should state that they're copied from the Wikipedia template of the same name and perhaps mention the five editors who contributed most to creating those templates (or fewer if there weren't as many as five), which you can find out in the edit history, in order to give credit to the people who made the templates. Sorry if that sounds complicated: it's not really that hard. I might help you if you ask me. (I saw the discussion about this on Moonriddengirl's talk page.) ☺ Coppertwig (talk) 22:14, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

- Delete per WP:NOTBLOG. The contents of the userpage do not seem to be directly related to Wikipedia, unfortunately. Midorihana みどりはな 08:33, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete Wikipedia is a wiki for building an encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but you will have to find a different wiki intended for users to keep their personal stuff --Enric Naval (talk) 14:52, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Keep, blank the page, and move on -- Ned Scott 07:10, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Wikipedia is for encyclopedia-building, not drafting out proposed TV shows. It would probably be bast to find a wiki more designed for this. Ironholds 15:44, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
