Ummm... We already have the very successful Counter-Vandalism Unit, and the project only has four members. It doesn't seem to be active, either, as far as maintaining it. Cool Bluetalk to me 13:36, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Keep. A private userspace group for fighting vandalism is not detrimental to the goal of maintaining Wikipedia. Yes, it could be considered redundant to the CVU, but if users choose to opt out of the CVU and start their own group, this can't really be bad for the encyclopedia. I do see the nominator's line of reasoning as far as inactivity is concerned, and I certainly would support deletion if this were in projectspace, but it's in userspace. As I keep saying, we need to give users more latitude with their userspace than is the case at present. I know someone will accuse me of using a WP:HARMLESS argument, but in the case of userspace, I think "it's harmless" is a reasonable enough argument; unless it's actively hurting the encyclopedia or is inflammatory, userspace content should almost always be left alone, IMO. Waltontalk 14:35, 6 July 2007 (UTC)- Delete I received the Wikipedia Army when its previous leader left Wikipedia. I have not been active in doing anything with it. As it is small and inactive, I do not mind if it is deleted. Captain panda 15:08, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete As per Walton, if the author is OK with its deletion then U1 applies here. Qst 17:33, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
