Per WP:UP#NOT appears to be a non-Wikipedia-related "countdown" of User's favorite music videos. Web searches on "GJCP Countdown" or "GJCP Award" brings up nothing. No Wikipedia entries on these either, and the page has been in place for months, so it's not a sandbox or a subpage of any kind. - eo 18:47, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Totally unrelated to wikipedia. Under out guidelines it is okay to have some information not relating to wikipedia, but this goes way to far. Sorry.--SJP 20:43, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as above. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 09:13, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - not doing any harm. It's self-made and GJCP won't return a search result becuase it's his own thing. Auroranorth (sign) 10:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Strong keep Not only harmless, but good for wikipedia as it helps him editing as he contributes a lot to these artists' pages. And latitude should shown for userpages, one wp:owns a bit more than other wikipages, especially when much effort has been put into them; I'd rather not see such nominations in the future.--victor falk 12:42, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - I certainly realize it is "harmless" in the grand scheme of things - but then what is the use of having a guideline stating that a User Page is not a weblog or a hosting service for non-Wiki-related items? And if you don't want to see such noms, where else would one put them? I've seen other User Pages with much less content than this be deleted and/or blanked. - eo 12:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I understand that perfectly, but sometimes exceptions have to be made when more harm would be done by following them. Be bold and ignore all rules.--victor falk 14:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
