[edit] User:Black Tony
Delete. User has had one contribution since registering on June 20, 2006, to his/her own userpage. The text of the userpage is some sort of story about a gang that steals bikes. No indication that the "Black Tony" will be a useful contributor to Wikipedia. ... discospinster talk 17:31, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per nom, looks like a kid created it for school children to write their story.--Andeh 19:01, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- Case Against Deletion of This Page
Hello,
When I originally created my Wikipedia page for this topic, I was told that it was not acceptable for it to be placed among the other Wikipedia pages. Though my attempts to alter this decision were futile, an ultimatum was reached where I could post this page on my user page. I was promised that I could post whatever I would like as long as it was not pornographic in any way.
Now, for some reason, my page is being deleted. Clearly, the Wikipedia administrators like to contradict themselves and make up policies to benefit their needs. It seems your policy includes discouraging the trade of free knowledge.
The reasons already posted that encourage the deletion of my page include the following. This is a "children's story", that statement is very incorrect. This is a true story currently unfolding in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area. Just because the majority of people outside the area have not heard of this story, does not mean it is not important to us Allentown citizens. Secondly, you state that I have not contributed enough to the Wikipedia community. Besides Black Tony, my other passion includes sports, which does not need updating as often; as it is usually already correct. Thirdly, I am not trying to use this page as a free webhost. Simply as a means to notify others of his wearabouts so their belongings do not get stolen. I wanted this as a normal Wikipedia page; but the genius powers that be felt that this issue was not very important or valuable to the community.
In conclusion, I would hope that the wonderful administrators and moderators can see past their fallacies and allow the operation of this page to continue. I have had many complaints from peers about this page being taken down. Deletion of this page is unjustifiable and downright wrong. This page is needed for the protection of the community and the well being of humanity.
Sincerly, Jackson Yates (BT7 victim) - See also User:Blacktonys7, a nearly identical page created by a user who has made only two edits outside the userspace or talk spaces (and both of which were reverted). Both of these pages are recreations of the deleted page Black Tony (a page first deleted with the comment admitted to be fiction by creator User:Blacktony7).
The statements immediately above that users may "post whatever I would like as long as it was not pornographic" are incorrect. The rules for userspace are clearly laid out in our longstanding policy page on userspaces. While we give some latitude for good contributors, Wikipedia is not a free webhost. Wikipedia is not a place to perpetuate hoaxes or nonsense. Delete both. Rossami (talk) 17:35, 10 August 2006 (UTC) - Unjust Deletion
- Hello once again,
- Why is this page being deleted when I was told by you that I would be able to post it on my user page? We reached an agreement not too long ago in which I was allowed to keep this on the user page. I understand your claim that "this is not a free webhost" however, you agreed to a compromise with me, and should live up to it. If you contradict your statements now, why should any of the users on Wikipedia ever trust the content on the site? The only way to validate the truth of your pages is through your word, which you are currently losing the prestige of. Please do not delete this page.

. Sorry about not signing my name again. This is Jackson Yates. Thank you for your time.
- Userpages provide information about the Wikipedia editors. If you're actively editing Wikipedia and the information on your userpage gives us a better understanding of your WP editorial work, then fine, it should stay. But you can't use Wikipedia simply to host a page for you. See What can I have on my user page?. --Zoz (t) 15:25, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
