Group nomination. Several user subpages containing a mix of political propaganda/soapboxing and uselessly userfied deleted article material (partly from de-wiki) kept around for political purposes and not used for any constructive ongoing work. Inappropriate use of user space, per WP:USER (userspace is not for extensive political statements unrelated to Wikipedia). Fut.Perf. ☼ 17:03, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Looks like a well designed userpage with references to various historical figures. I can't see any good reason to delete it. --RucasHost 19:13, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Excuse me, but which of the five pages above are you talking about? Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:37, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- When I was a kid there was a teaching game adults played with kids -- "which of these things is not like the others". Sorry, but, IMO, you nominated pages that were insufficiently similar to be grouped together. Geo Swan 13:27, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

- Extending my !vote to User:Asteraki/Asteraki, delete all six pages. Wikipedia is not a soap box - ∅ (∅), 08:09, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

- Keep -- Sorry, this nomination hasn't really made a case for deletion of this material.
- I don't see anything remotely questionable about User:Asteraki/ALEXANDER THE GREAT. So, what am I missing?
- I don't remember ever actually reading WP:USER before. So, I took a brief look at it. I did a text search for "politic". Nada. Could the nominator please be more specific in explaining how the other pages fail to comply with WP:USER?
- Some pages are in a foreign language. If this is counter to policy could the nominator cite the specific policy?
- Cheers! Geo Swan 13:27, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: The relevant part of WP:USER is: "What can I not have on my user page? [...] Extensive personal opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia [...] this space is not intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content". The German passages are deleted articles from de-wiki. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:07, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. I will agree about the deleted articles from de. -- but what were your objections to User:Asteraki/ALEXANDER THE GREAT? And why did you lump it in with the others? Cheers! Geo Swan 17:08, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, now that I look at it again... I originally thought it was a great big heap of "opinions unrelated to Wikipedia", namely about Alexander the Great. I only now realise it's a copyvio of a song text. So, scrap the song text; that leaves just a heap of silly patriotic image-waving. Let him keep that if he must.
