[edit] User:Air Force Combat Controllers
Article content in userspace. In addition, it appears to be more of an essay rather than an actual article. Haven't checked for copyvios. Also, several images here that aren't used elsewhere. ^demon[omg plz] 16:54, 13 September 2007 (UTC) 16:54
- Delete most of it consists of copyvios from [1] [2] [3] [4], including at least one image. As it begins with "This Wiki documents CCT heritage, history and exploits" it seems that it also violates WP:NOT#WEBSPACE. Hut 8.5 19:33, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per copyvio concerns; also, it doesn't appear that this user is intending to make contributions to the encyclopedia. WaltonOne 20:04, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Delete There are 2 major reasons why this userpage should, and needs to be deleted. First of all, there are copyright concerns regarding this userpage. That is enough of a reason to delete this. The second reason why this should be deleted is because userspace should not be used as webspace. The purpose of a userpage is to mainly talk about things relating to wikipedia. To me it is not a big deal that the user seemingly does not intend to edit. That is not a reason to delete this userpage.--SJP 00:09, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree with your final statement, as per the reasoning articulated in the essay Wikipedia:Editors matter. Users who are actively contributing to the encyclopedia should be allowed some latitude in what they do with their userspace, and shouldn't be prohibited from expressing themselves and having fun. In contrast, those who are not interested in editing and are simply here to use Wikipedia as a free webhost (like this user) should not be allowed to do so. WaltonOne 10:18, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
