The result of the debate was moot. Page may be renominated if someone insists, but it has changed substantially since this debate began, and the editor is clearly open to cooperation. Xoloz (talk) 10:53, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:Ahmansoor
User page reads as a resume, user ignored request to discuss here almost 2 weeks ago. Many, many external links and no WP-related material. 12 Noon 16:46, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
i have adjusted it and remove all unncessary information.Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.81.196.99 (talk) 20:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per nomination. Userpage is in violation of WP:UP and WP:NOT#MYSPACE. As far as KnowledgeOfSelf's reversion of the edits, I would hazard a guess that this was done in line with WP:UP#Ownership and editing of pages in the user space, which suggests that user pages are the domain of their owner and discourages major edits by other users. After all, if we could freely remove all content that violates WP:UP, MfD would be a very lonely place indeed :) --jonny-mt(t)(c)I'm on editor review! 02:07, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

- Comment I think KoS probably reverted it because the MfD tag was removed and the revision was made by an IP address rather than the user in question. If the user were to log on and re-edit the user page, and leave the MfD tag intact for the time being, I think the edit would be taken more seriously. Even though I think the history should be deleted regardless.--12 Noon 02:56, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
I have removed most of the text which looked like resume. Is it fine now? Thanks. ahmansoor (Abdul Hayi Mansoor) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahmansoor (talk • contribs) 08:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Still simply a resume -- this is not what user pages are for. Although I'm sure the new user had the best of intentions, deletion is proper and will provide the appropriate reminder of policy. Xoloz (talk) 13:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Adjusted it further. Is it OK now? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahmansoor (talk • contribs) 09:03, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but it still advertises your business. Also, giving your contact details is not a good thing on Wikipedia -- you aren't going to generate much friendly contact that way (unless you put the page on your business card, which would be a gross misuse of Wikipedia's server bandwidth. Wikipedia does not exist to advertise businesses; no real encyclopedia would ever allow such advertising either. Xoloz (talk) 13:59, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Its my owner to be the part of wikipedia. I will fulfil every requirement. I have further shortern my page by removing contact info.
