[edit] Portal:Beyoncé Knowles
I very seriously question whether this portal, which clearly has a very limited scope, has enough quality content to keep it. Included in the nomination are Portal:/Categories, Portal:Beyoncé Knowles/Intro, Portal:Beyoncé Knowles/box-footer, Portal:Beyoncé Knowles/box-header, and Portal:Beyonce Knowles, a redirect. - Delete - I have concerns about deleting a week after the page was created, it's obviously still under construction. However, based on categories the scope is very borderline for Speedy P2 (most of the articles are very long stubs because they take up a lot of room listing the tracks on the albums - even then there are less than a dozen that would work even if they were all non-stubs). --Doug.(talk • contribs) 04:25, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - If the scope was larger maybe I'd say give it a few days, but with such a limited subject range, and the fact the portal is not at all complete I vote delete. - Shudde talk 04:56, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Y Done Portal is now complete. Vikrant 15:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hardly. The intro is two sentences long, and the selected article is about the same. Plus I can't actually find a link to view the selected article. The news section is not really news at all (how old is that info). - Shudde talk 22:37, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Expanded. And for news, you need patience. Vikrant 14:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

- OK, prove it, how many non-stub articles are within the scope of this Portal? What outside of Cat:Beyoncé Knowles should we be considering? Most of those are stubs even if not tagged as such.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 19:47, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- If content is present, how do stubs harm the page? Vikrant 15:41, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- As per Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Portals, any portal which does not have at least three non-stub articles detailing subject matter that would be appropriate for that portal could qualify for speedy deletion, without discussion like were having here. Presumably, the number could be a bit higher for a discussed nomination. So I too would like to see an indication of the three non-stub articles other than the main article which would be appropriate for the portal. John Carter (talk) 16:05, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

- You don't have to vote here, do you? Vikrant 14:30, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, you don't have to vote, we don't decide by voting we decide by consensus, the Keep or Delete (or userfy or merge, etc.) are just shorthand to clue everyone including the closer in to where things roughly fall, bit in a 10-1 "vote" the one can still beat out the 10 if the arguments are really good, based on policy, etc. and the 10 are weak or no argument at all. It is convenient when everyone says where they stand, but your position should be pretty clear by now.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 19:32, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
