In a bit of serendipity, I found this article because there is currently a Mississippi Kite nesting in the center of the Texas Tech Campus. The bird is identified by numerous signs around the field it is nested in, which warn against leaving the paths so the bird will not feel threatened. I am glad that this page includes a picture, so I know what to look for in my bird watching(or ducking lol).--65.119.49.66 19:36, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
