This article was proposed for deletion under WP:NN. I oppose deletion. Similar articles exist for similar beauty pageants elsewhere; in fact dozens of them. Many are less notable, and not all of them deal with independent countries. See, for instance: Miss Wales, Miss Star Hellas, Miss Curaçao, Alternative Miss Ireland, Miss Chennai, Miss Tibet and so on. The list is huge. Some only deal with regions or territories, and some of these are in some cases smaller than the 555,000-strong Transnistria. - Mauco 05:28, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
