[edit] About the rank in the world

Elim, San Salvador is te second largest SINGLE church in the world. Theres even a book called Elim: La apasionante historia de una iglesia transformando una ciudad para Jesús by Joel Comiskey. Its in English, Spanish, and French. In the wikipedia article on the Brazil church, it says theres 500,000 members in many different churches. But the church in San Salvador has 200,000 members to its mother church. Those 200,000 people attend the same church during the week. And on Sundays there is 6 services held so the most poeple can come. Guanaco152003 21:57, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Sources for the claim of second largest church?

I'm not saying it can't be true, only that such a claim demands backup -- preferably from places beyond the church itself. Certainly there's plenty of verification of the popularity of evangelicalism in modern El Salvador, so it's a potentially credible claim, but one in desperate need of specific sources. I'll look for the Citation tag so that I can add it.Lawikitejana 18:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copy editing and other issues

I added a copy-editing tag, though the article needs more than that. It currently reads too much like an advertisement written by a member. Nonetheless, I think the article's worth salvaging, especially as there are not that many El Salvador-related articles. This one needs sources and editing for neutral point of view, along with the more traditional editing tasks. Lawikitejana 16:50, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
