The 5th edition of the Mister World Male Pageant was held on March 31st, 2007 in the tropical island of Sanya, People's Republic of China.
Mister World 2007 was televised across the globe, with an estimated audience of over 1 billion people in over one hundred countries. Over the weeks of the competition, the men were tested on their strength, perseverance, mental agility and determination, set against some of China’s most spectacular locations.
A number of challenges are now being considered these include:
- X-treme sports- Continental series team events
- Great Wall Climb – Great Wall Of China
- Marine Training
- Traditional raft building – Sink or Swim
- Jungle survival exercises in Tropical Rain Forest
- Mountain River Rapid Series
- Scuba Recovery Challenge
- Martial Arts Training School
- Elephant Pull – Team Series
A record of 56 countries are expected to compete. This is also the first edition to feature Fast Track events. The Fast Track events of Mister World 2007 are Talent, Sports, and Iron Man.
