Highway 141 is a highway located in the western St. Louis metropolitan area. Its northern terminus is at Route 340 in Chesterfield in St. Louis County; its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 61/U.S. Route 67 in Arnold, in Jefferson County. The section of Route 141 between Interstate 64 and the St. Louis County/Jefferson County line was upgraded to six lanes in a project completed in 2003. The section in Jefferson County is four lanes. For the majority of its duration, 141 is a divided highway with six to eight lanes up until US 40, where it converges into a two lane road until Olive where it ends. SPUIs are planned at Ladue Rd and Route 340.[1]

The northern part of Route 141, from the northern terminus until after Ladue Road, is named Woods Mill Road. Other portions of the highway had been named Meramec Station Road, New Smizer Mill Road, and Vandover Road, but the expansion project caused those to diverge from Route 141.[citation needed]
