The Mission Times Courier is a monthly community newspaper published in San Diego, California by NewsEtc Publishing Company. The newspaper was founded May 11, 1995 by Sally Ortega Madaffer, a native of the Allied Gardens neighborhood of San Diego. The newspaper was published for one month under the name Navajo Times, but this name was too similar to another area publication called Navajo News which ceased publishing in October 1995. The newspaper changed its name to Mission Times Courier with the June 1995 issue and has been publishing under that name ever since.

The Mission Times Courier carries news of local community interest covering the San Diego communities of Allied Gardens, College, Del Cerro, Grantville, Rolando and San Carlos.

The newspaper was the subject of an article last year on the Voice of San Diego website [1]] where it highlighted it is owned by the City Councilmember for the area, Jim Madaffer and his wife Sally Ortega Madaffer.
