Mission évangélique au Laos (MEL) is one of the largest Christian denominations of Laos. Laos has one of the highest levels of persecution of Christians in the world. The MEL is a Christian Brethren church.[1] Most members of the MEL are belong to ethnic minorities of the South of Laos. The membership exceeds 10,000.
