Miss and Mister Catalan Nation

Miss i Mister Nació Catalana ("Miss and Mister Catalan Nation") is a Catalan beauty pageant for young women and men. The first pageant was held in Tremp in 2006 with 82 participants representing all of the 41 Catalan comarques [1]. Miss and Mister Catalan Nation 2007 was held in Castelldefels [2].

As Catalonia is not a sovereign state, titleholders are only allowed to take part in some international contests. This pageant is independent from Miss Barcelona, Miss Girona, Miss Lleida and Miss Tarragona, which choose the Catalan candidates for Miss Spain.
