The pageant was broadcast on Venevision from the Club de Sub-Oficiales in Caracas, Venezuela. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder Maria Antonieta Cámpoli, crowned Desireé Rolando of Carabobo as the new Miss Venezuela.
