Miss Universe UK is a pageant used to select the United Kingdom's Representative for Miss Universe. Miss Universe UK was held on May 4th 2008 at London's Cafe De Paris. The current titleholder is Lisa Lazarus, from Wales.

The contest was originally called 'Miss Great Britain Universe when created in 1952 but was changed to Miss United Kingdom Universe in 2005 and subseqeuntly to Miss Universe UK in 2008. In the pageant the British overseas territories, Territories of Crown Dependencies, Regions of England, Counties of Northern Ireland, Regions of Scotland, and Counties of Wales are be represented.When created as Miss Great Britain Universein 1952, 30 women around the island of Great Britainand Northern Irelandcometed. But in Miss Universe 1953, England, Scotland, and Walesentered seprately. In 1992 Miss Great Britain Universe came back until 2001. In 2005 it came back with the name Miss Universe United Kingdom and the pageant had 50 delagates representing subdivision of British Overseas, Crown Dependencies, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. In 2008 the rights to the pageant were awarded to Welsh Modelling agency Vibe Models, and the names was chnanged again to Miss Universe UK. The contest was revitalized, with a show being held in Central London to determine the winner. 38 contestants competed for the title.

The current Miss Universe UK is Lisa Lazarus, who will fly to Vietnam to compete in the international finals of Miss Universe on July 14th. The event was held on May 4th at London's Cafe De Paris. The judging panel consisted of Sarah Cornelius (Chief Executive of The Joshua Foundation), Kemal Shahin (UK Celebrity and Fashion Critic), Bacary Sagna (Arsenal Football Player), Justin Hoyte (Arsenal Football Player), Carole Williams (General Manager Dress-stop.com), Genevieve Mullen (writer and journalist) and Charlotte Newbert-Mills (Director of Nephria beauty products). Winner Lisa Lazarus is 20 years old and is originally from Llanelli in Wales, Lisa is now a well established model in London and works worldwide. Lisa stands at 177cm tall. She is a full time model as well as having entered numerous beauty pageants in the UK previous to her win at Miss Universe UK. Lisa is also a Diagnostic radiography student at Hertfordshire University. Lisa Lazarus is currently dating Spanish football player Gerard Pique Bernabeu, who currently plays for Spanish football club FC Barelona.
