The 58th Annual Miss USA pageant will be held sometime in the spring of 2009. All 50 states along with District of Colombia are expected to compete. The winner will represent USA at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant. Beginning in June 2008 throughout January 2009 state pageants will be held to select their representatives. Crystle Stewart who won the title of Miss USA 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
