The Miss Tourism World pageant is an international beauty pageant created in Great Britain. Miss Tourism World Organisation are the owners and producers of Miss Tourism World, Model of the World, Model of the Universe, Miss Bikini World and Miss Internet World including our National Final Miss Great Britain, which this year celebrates 62 years of the competition.

Miss Tourism World Was founded by John Singh in 1991 after a brief period as A National Director for Mr. Charlie See's Miss Tourism pageant , he set up his rival pagent without a License from Charles See, and went about trying to secure Trademarks all over the world. Over the years he has built up the pageant with an impressive 86 entries in 2005, but has also been the subject of a lot of controversy and was the subject of an arrest warrant [1][2] and many of his National Directors have most recently abandoned his pageant due to allegations of highly unethical practices and "Sex for Titles" allegations[3], where Girls who never turned up for Preliminary events, were dubiously announced as winning titles on the final night, amidst claims they were sleeping with John Singh and the judges and had been seen entering and leaving his hotel Suite in the middle of the night. [4]

He was famously booted out of Zimbabwean by the Government and his pageant canceled after collecting US$2,000,000 [5] the previous year but not paying his bills[6] Other allegations include no payment of prizes for winners, and organizing a contest called Miss Millionaire that nobody has ever won [7]

The 2006 contest scheduled to be held in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa was also famously cancelled at the last minute without any explanation
