Miss Teen Canada

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Miss Teen Canada is a charity and scholastically based competition in Canada for women age 13 to 17. Started in 1969, it was shut down in late 1990 due to financial concerns. The pageant was named Miss Teenage Canada for its first three years, and was originally sponsored by A&W Drive-Ins as a beauty contest. It was restarted in 1998, but had no title holder in 1999, with a new focus on charity work and scholastics.
