Miss International (USA)

Miss International is a pageant created by Mary and Mel Richardson to showcase the accomplishments of outstanding single women, ages 19-29 and serves as a training ground for many women like Catherine Warren and Kimberly Krueger and others who go on to win titles in larger systems.

During the pageant week contestants compete

Preliminaries
Evening Gown - 20%
Fitness Wear - 20%
Fun Fashion - 20%
One on One Interview - 40%

Unlike the Miss America systems, interview is not conducted by a pannel. Contestants spend an equal amount of time with each of the five judges for one on one interviews.

Finals Night
Evening Gown - 20%
Fitness Wear - 20%
Fun Fashion - 20%
On Stage Interview - 40%

Contestants receive a predetermined question on their platform that they must answer within the time limit.[1]

The pageant's sister pageant Miss Teen International (USA) was featured in the TV program ASBO Teen to Beauty Queen for England's Channel Five.

The Mrs/Miss International system was featured on an episode of the A&E television program about air travelers and their stories.
