Miss Globe International

Miss Globe International, also known simply as Miss Globe, is a beauty pageant which is annually held in eastern Mediterranean region.
The present titleholder is Helen Cristina Alves da Silva of Brazil, who was crowned in October 1 in Tirana, Albania.

- After the 2006 competition in Albania, four contestants were on board Turkish Airlines Flight 1476 when it was hijacked in flight from Tirana to Istanbul. They, along with all of the flight's passengers, were unharmed.

- Venezuela is the first Latin and South American country to win the Miss Globe title.
- Switzerland is the first European country to win the Miss Globe title.
- Turkmenistan is the first Asian country to win the Miss Globe title.
- Turkmenistan and the Philippines are the only Asian countries to win the Miss Globe title.
- No African country has ever gone to win the Miss Globe title.
