The Miss GEICO Offshore Racing Team (sponsored by GEICO Insurance) is powered by AMF Offshore Racing, owned by John Haggin
Miss GEICO is one of the fastest offshore powerboats. She is powered by twin Lycoming T-53 turbine engines, hitting speeds in excess of 185mph.
Driven by Marc Granet and throttled by Scott Begovich, Miss GEICO has captured three World Championships in 2007.

[edit] Build It Bigger – Turbo Charged Boats
In 2007, the Discovery Channel filmed Miss GEICO for an episode of their hit series Build It Bigger which premiered September 26th. Host Danny traveled to Palm Beach, FL where he helped the team rebuild one of their boats which must be ready to compete in two weeks.
