Miss Earth 2007 Special Awards
Miss Earth 2007, the 7th Miss Earth pageant took place on November 11, 2007 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. The delegates also visited Nha Trang, Vietnam. Eighty- eight delegates competed for the title, held by Hil Hernández of Chile, making 2007 the largest edition of contestants for Miss Earth. The pageant was hosted by MTV Asia VJ Greg "Utt" Panichkul. Canadian Jessica Trisko was crowned Miss Earth in the seventh edition of the environmentally-conscious beauty pageant held Sunday night.
Pooja Chitgopekar won India's second consecutive Miss Earth-Air title. Silvana Santaella of Venezuela won Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown and was proclaimed Miss Earth-Water.[1][2]
Spain was represented by Angela Gomez finished fourth as Miss Earth-Fire. Semifinalist Bokang Montjane of South Africa received the Beauty for a Cause award.[3]

- Tanzania's Angel Delight Kileo was a replacement for Kelly Kampton, the original winner. Kileo had competed in Miss International 2006 in Tokyo, Japan and Beijing, China where she was unplaced.
- Miss Earth 2007 winner, Jessica Nicole Trisko who represented Canada, has Russian, Ukrainian, and Filipino descent. Prior to the competition she competed at Miss Universe Canada 2007 where she made the top 10.
- Miss US Virgin Islands, Je T'aime Cerge, was a contestant in Miss Universe 2006 held in Los Angeles, USA.
- Miss Wales, Sarah Fleming, also represented her country in Miss World 2006 held in Warsaw, Poland.
- Miss Denmark, Trine Lundgaard, competed in Miss World 2005. The pageant was won by Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland.
- Miss Belize, Leilah Pandy, also participated in Miss Universe 2004. Miss Australia Jennifer Hawkins won the said pageant.
- Prior to the Miss Earth 2007 competition, the representatives of Fiji, France, and Niue Island participated in the Miss Tourism Queen International 2007 pageant held July 7, 2007 to August 2, 2007.[4]
