The third edition of the Miss Earth pageant took place on November 9, 2003 in Quezon City, Philippines. 57 contestants from all over the globe participated in the anticipated event.
Dania Prince Méndez of Honduras, a former Miss Universe contestant, won the prestigious pageant that year.[1]

Final Question in Miss Earth 2003: "At the end of each rainbow, so the saying goes, is a pot of gold. As a woman of the earth, what else would you rather find at the end of the rainbow?"
Winning Answer of Miss Earth 2003: “I’d rather find God and to give love to people,” Dania Prince, represented Honduras.[1]

- Dania Prince was a candidate at the Miss Universe 1998 pageant, also representing Honduras. She did not place
- Miss Ecuador, Isabel Ontaneda, was a candidate in both Miss Universe and Miss International in 2002.
- Yodit Getahun of Ethiopia was a delegate in Miss International 2003
- Krystiana Aristotelou (Cyprus) and Marta Matyjasik (Poland) were candidates in Miss World 2001 & 2002, respectively both were unplace. Marta Matyjasik was 4th runner up in Miss Europe 2003.
- Jolena Kwasow (Germany) and Nguyen Ngan Ha (Vietnam) both later competed at Miss Tourism Queen International 2004. Ngan Ha failed to place, but Kwasow was the first runner-up at said pageant.
- Bosnia-Herzegovina wins Miss Talent for the second year a row.
