Miss Dominican Republic Universe 1987 was held on February 4, 1987. 28 candidates are competed for the national crown. The winner represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 1987 . The Miss Mundo Dominicana will enter Miss World 1987. Only the 27 province, 1 muncipality entered. The Pageant was in El Auditorio de la Universidad Technologico de San Fernando in San Fernando de Monte Cristi On the top 10 they showed their evening gown and answered questions so the could go to the top 5. In the top 5 they would answered more questions.
