Miss Dominican Republic Universe 1985 was held on February 1, 1985. 28 candidates are competed for the national crown. The winner represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 1985 . The Miss Mundo Dominicana will enter Miss World 1985. Only the 27 province, 1 muncipality entered. The Pageant was in Auditorio de la Universidad de Madre Y Maestra de San Felipe de Puerto Plata in San Felipe de Puerto Plata On the top 10 they showed their evening gown and answered questions so the could go to the top 5. In the top 5 they would answered more questions.
