Miss Dominican Republic Universe 1982 was held on February 7, 1982. 28 candidates are competed for the national crown. The winner represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss World 1982 . The Virreina Al Miss Universo will enter Miss Universe 1982. Only the 27 province, 1 muncipality entered. On the top 10 they showed their evening gown and answered questions so the could go to the top 5. In the top 5 they would answered more questions. This year was the only time that winner will represent the country to Miss World 1982.
