Misor was, according to the traditions of the Phoenician legends as found in the account ascribed to Sanchuniathon, one of two children of the Phoenician gods Amynus and Magus. The other named was Suduc. These names are said to mean "Straight" (Misor) and "Just" (Suduc).
It is said that these two were the first to discover the use of salt.
Misor's son was named Taautus, and believed to be the inventor of the first written alphabet.
