Misner space

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Misner space is an abstract mathematical spacetime, discovered by Charles Misner of the University of Maryland. It is also known as the Lorentzian orbifold\mathbb{R}^{1,1}/boost.

It is sort of like a video game screen where in if one goes out of the scene through the right side he enters the frame again through the left end. If the walls of a room enclosing a Misner space could move maybe time travel would be possible.
