[edit] Synopsis
After a magical mishap, Fizzy, Shady, Wind Whistler and Gusty must live each other's lives until they can restore the balance of nature.
[edit] Plot
Fizzy, Shady, Wind Whistler and Gusty are enjoying a game of polo in the forest. Fizzy jokingly traps the ball in a bubble, but it floats away from her, and when the Little Ponies chase it they wander into an unfamiliar part of the forest. Shady trips over a release mechanism and the Ponies find themselves hurtling down a long series of chutes to an underground cavern.
The Ponies have entered the home of the Dell Dwellers, an underground society of gnomes who maintain the forest, fashioning rocks, acorns and other natural things. The Ponies accidentally knock over a barrel, releasing hundreds of tiny droplet-like creatures, the Frazzits, who are kept in the barrel to maintain the balance of nature. The Dell Dwellers suddenly become very poor workers, turning dials at random and smashing the things they have made. The Ponies, too, experience change - ditzy Fizzy becomes well-spoken and responsible; nervous Shady becomes a daredevil; hotheaded Gusty becomes shy and afraid and the previously intelligent Wind Whistler simply rolls on the floor, laughing like a maniac.
Fizzy makes use of her newfound initiative to lead a team effort to recapture the Frazzits. Gusty herds the Frazzits together with a gentle breeze, Fizzy traps them in bubbles and Shady knocks the bubbles into the barrel. With all the Frazzits inside, the Dell Dwellers recover their work ethic, and the Ponies' previous personalities are restored. Though they've all appreciated the chance to live like somebody else, they've also come to appreciate their own unique strengths.
