Misato (美郷町 Misato-chō?) is a town located in the Ōchi District in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It was formed on October 1, 2004 from the merger of the village of Daiwa and the town of Ōchi.

As of May 1, 2007 the town has a population of 5,981 and a density of 21.14 persons per km². The area is 282.92 km².
